Is sexuality a part of spirituality?

In this introductory session you'll begin the exploration of sexuality as it relates to spirituality, and you'll realize how much you allow society's belief structures to influence your own choices.

In 1997, The Wonders were discussing a lot of the major issues present in society today. Although they spoke about freedom in sexuality, they always emphasized the importance of not imposing yourself onto another. Whether it be an ideology about sexual or gender orientation, LGBTQIA+ rights, women's rights, or even reproductive rights, the emphasis on each individual's ability to choose for themselves has been paramount. The constant push in society to try to force certain laws and ideologies onto all citizens comes back to this basic principle.

In this clip from the 1997 session recording, The Wonders again reiterate that freedom in your sexuality comes from your ability to choose for yourself. Sexuality is not something that is pushed onto anybody else nor is it something that is ever forced onto you by somebody else.
